President Sirleaf Make Several Appointments in Government

The Liberian leader, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has made in her government new appointments.

Those appointed late lastnigh were Budget Director, Augustine Ngafuan; Minister of Finance, Amara konneh; Minister of Planning, Natty Davies; Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Dr. Amos Sawyer; Chairman of the Governance Commission and Nathaniel Barnes Ambassador to the United States of America.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberia Senate, according to a release from the office of the President.
