Several Queue For GNN Personalities 2009

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Nominated as Sports Promoter of the year
Names of individuals and institutions have been nominated to capture last year Personalities and Institutions of 2009.
Hundreds of emails have been received by the Global News Network (GNN) from Liberians and foreign residents nominating individuals and institutions that they believed have immensely contributed to Liberia’s developmental growth over the past twelfth months.
Hundreds of names and entities have already flooded the offices of the GNN including Counselor Kofi Woods who has been nominated by four hundreds individuals to capture the Minister of the Year – 2009.
Others include President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as Sports Promoter of the Year, Pealat Construction Company as Company of the year among others, and UNMIL boss .
The successfuly candidates for this year's honor will be published in our sister newspaper, The Star and on this site on Tuesday next week.
Presentation of awards will be done at the headquarters of the Press Union of Liberia, Clay Street Monrovia on the 29th of January, 2010, according to the CEO of GNN Cholo Brooks.
Meanwhile, GNN is seeking for nomination from both home and abrod for the below listed positions and institutions:

Woman of the year
Minister of the year
Construction Company of the year
Corporation of the year
Bank of the year
Determined Businessman of the year
Diplomat of the year
Insurance Company of the year
Managing Director of the year
Politician of the year
GSM Company of the year
Local NGO of the year
Int’l NGO of the year
Rights Advocate of the year
Sportsman of the year
Sportswoman of the year
Sports promoter of the year
Peacekeeper of the year
Gospel Musician of the year
Secular Musician of the year
Religious Woman of the year
Religious Man of the Year
Radio Station of the year
Television Station of the year
DJ of the year
